Welcome to the Garden and Outdoor category. I used to have a huge garden and patio, which required lots of tools and materials to take care of. Thankfully we downsized and it now easier and takes less time.
Gardens here in South Florida are quite different to the ones in Maryland, where I lived before. Different plants for different climates and even the patio furniture was different.
I think that creating a beautiful outdoor space is important for relaxing and enjoying some down time. With that said, there are some things that can really destroy that peace. In our case it is wild ducks. Yes, I know there are many people loving these wild animals and I do too, but on a lake where they have a nice space to live and take care of their young.
Unfortunately, here in our community we have up to 100 ducks at any given time and they are a nuisance. They dirty every front patio, dirty the water I leave for the cats to drink in the Florida heat, they are noisy and reproduce at a rate that is incredible. And they are huge. I have never seen such humongous ducks. I am amazed that they can even fly, although just short distances. They don’t stay at the lake we have in the back but are nesting and sleeping out front and unfortunately people feed them, so they do not go to the lake, as they are waiting all day for food.
So here I will also review some edgings and fencing and other tools I try to deter these ducks, besides plants for the garden, furniture, garden tools, etc.
If you have some ideas that worked for you deterring ducks, or have ideas to other products, please let me know in the comments.

Pinwheels Fun for Kids or Decorating – Pinwheels are fun toys, but also work very well as decorations for all seasons in your garden. They bring some color to vegetable bed or grass borders, but also help to repel birds from eating your vegetable or fruit seeds. I bought several different pinwheels to repel the ducks that are messing up our front patio, so let me show you what I found here
